The Demand Better Solar series is a campaign we produced for Sunpower in 2016 and 2017. It includes a 60 second brand spot we created, shot in various locations throughout California including San Francisco, Lodi and Yolo County. - as well as a series of two spots we created in 2017 featuring the Schulte family in Simi Valley, CA and the Sunsolar dealership in Bakersfield, CA.
Dell's "We Love Your Work" series features several entrepreneurs including Adrian Grenier, an actor, filmmaker, musician and advocate for Social Good; Rakia Reynolds, a PR specialist and owner of Skai Blue Media and Ben Hindman, owner and CEO of Splash - an events management company. Attackships on Fire creative Sam Akina was hired to direct and edit the series which shot for 7 days in NYC.
A commercial we created for Tekk Athletic featuring three time NBA Slam Dunk Champion Nate Robinson and three precocious kids. The spot was shot on location Colorado with stunts provided by Tim Drnec's team at FX West in Denver. These spots generated over 1 million views in the first week of release.
A series we created for Sunpower focusing on the experiences of Sunpower customers who have utilized solar technology with profound results. This series focuses on Yolo County, CA - the only grid positive county in the US, the San Francisco Exploratorium, and Rivermaid Trading Company.
When we received this commission from Seattle's only banked track roller derby league, we knew there were several things we wanted the spot to accomplish. As a fledgling sport in an emerging market, we felt it was important to legitimize both the sport of roller derby as well as the brand of Tilted Thunder. For us, this meant presenting a story about effort and dedication to craft from the perspective of the athletes - from the rigorous training in the warehouses, through injuries and practice days, to preparing for game day and skating out into the arena like modern day gladiators - all while giving the viewer a glimpse into the unique personas of Tilted Thunder skaters. Stylistically, we wanted to mix solid production values with a gritty, kinetic feel that, we felt, was ultimately bold, exciting, inspiring and relevant.

A project we created for Dell and Port St. Lucie High School in Port St. Lucie, Florida. PSLHS has a one to one program sponsored by Dell, so instead of textbooks, every student has a laptop assigned by the school. Awesome program and an interesting look at how technology is shaping education and student-teacher interactions.
Our High Education Future Ready campaign focuses on the utilization of futuristic technology in tomorrows classroom. Our research for the spot was based on interviews and input from several technology divisions within Dell as well as tech analysts such as Bob O'Donnell. The spot was produced by our Attackships team from script to screen and shot on location at the University of Washington in Seattle.

The first spot was produced in Los Angeles, CA and features two of our very own collaborators, director A.J. Carter and cinematographer Gabriel Bienczycki. The second spot, produced in Carlsbad, CA, features CAD technology pioneer and surfboard/wakesurf manufacturer KKL Machine.
A spot we produced in Washington DC and Arlington, Virginia for Dell featuring International Relief and Development, a global humanitarian organization that focuses on empowering vulnerable communities in the most challenging and evolving environments - and Solutions Granted, an cyber security firm that provides security solutions to IRD that ensure sensitive data and personnel are protected in these often harsh, post war environments.

We were commissioned by the newly minted Dell Blue Agency to create an engaging series that focuses on several small businesses in the Austin, Texas area. We shot on location in and around the city, and got a chance to work with and learn from so many driven and dedicated individuals. The series highlights the efforts of Austin Pets Alive, Qui Restaurant and Zach Theater and explores how technology helps these businesses to achieve their goals. The series received a Silver Telly Award in 2014.
AUSTIN PETS ALIVE
The first piece in our series features Austin Pets Alive, a pet rescue organization dedicated to keeping Austin a "No Kill" city. We spent two days on location with APA's dedicated staff, learning about their lives, goals and the animals that they work so hard to find homes for.
Collaboration, ingenuity, love and technology are at the core of our second spot featuring celebrity chef Paul Qui's new restaurant. Paul was the Season 9 winner of the popular show Top Chef, and has since continued to push his culinary talents to the next level.
Our third spot features Austin based Zach Theater, a stage production company that uses cutting edge technology to enhance the audience experience on both sides of the stage. In addition, Zach has focused on providing theater classes and community based programs to children and adults in the Austin area.
In the More Than Technology series, our goal was to present our character's life from the perspective of their laptop - highlighting various interactions in a way that reinforces how modern life and technology are so inexorably intertwined. The series featuring four friends whose narratives casually intersect was widely embraced by Dell's Global Marketing Division, and several 30 second spots aired nationally in heavy rotation, culminating in several airings during the 2011 BCS Championship Bowl on NBC which had over 27 million viewers. Not bad for a series that began its life as a web video campaign.
The first commercial in our series focuses on a college freshman and how her Inspiron 14z plays an integral role in her social and academic life. Concepts we wanted to focus on here were connectivity, portability and general academic use.
The second spot in our series promotes Dell's new XPS 14z - a sleek, stylish laptop that couples a compact body with processing power. The spot follows the story of an aspiring musician/graphic designer as he goes through the process of making his music - from recording on his laptop at home, to mixing with a producer in the studio, to creating his concert flyers in photoshop to performing at a live venue. Conceptually, we wanted to highlight the versatility, style, and performance of the XPS 14z in a way that was dynamic, engaging and organic to the storyline.
Our third spot returns to the Inspiron 14z, this time focusing on durability as well as portability. This spot also features the Dell Vostro 360 All In One Desktop computer. To strike an effective contrast between work and recreational use, we developed the story of a family-owned business where the Vostro is used in an administrative capacity for handling accounts and processing orders, while the Inspiron 14z is used by a young skateboarder to design board graphics for the shop, edit skate videos and keep in touch with friends online.
Our final spot in the series highlights the Dell XPS 15 and its user - a young college student interning at a creative design firm. This spot introduces the XPS 15 as an affordable alternative to Apple's popular but expensive powerbook series. We wanted to integrate an emotional element into the storyline and connect two of the characters on a more personal level.
These international spots for Polish Telecom were part of a wildly popular campaign called Cerce i Rozum (Heart and Brain) that was developed by the Publicis Poland Agency. The campaign uses a mix of animation and live action to tell the story of two friends - a Heart and a Brain - who though always at odds, must both make the right decisions together regarding their internet and cable provider. Our directors worked on location in Warsaw, Poland - guiding the project conceptually from development, through production, post and delivery.

We created this spec spot for the Poptent Agency's crowd sourced video competition for Acuvue Contact Lenses. We think it's a great example of a simple yet thoughtful concept with a cute, emotional twist. The spot not only became a finalist but also a Poptent staff favorite!
When Tekk approached us to create a compelling web spot for their new cross training product, the Tekk Trainer, we knew it would be a challenge, but we couldn't turn down an opportunity to work with Major League Soccer 2011 MVP Dwayne DeRosario. The spot takes us through a training routine with DeRo as he faces off against the Tekk Trainer and uses it to challenge himself and improve his skills on the pitch in a variety of different ways.
We were commissioned by Community Fitness to put a series of videos together that showcased each of their fitness formats for use on their website. Above is one of ten exciting spots we created together with our client. In "Breathe" we present a heart racing glimpse into the many classes and instructors that form the backbone of the Community Fitness organization.
We worked with the Mary Pomerantz Agency to create a campaign called "Hope Stories" for Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches on location in West Palm Beach, FL. It was very inspiring to hear employees at the facility tell us about their recovery from drug addiction and how their experiences ultimately led them to help others. Our concept was to present an emotional snapshot of our conversation with each employee that would push click though traffic to the webpage HopeStories.com. The series won a Webby award in 2013 for Outstanding Reality Series, beating out other notable nominees including The New York Times for the honor.
An informative series that focuses on Seaside Palm Beach - an executive rehabilitation facility that provides a number of amenities for high end clientele in West Palm Beach, Florida.

A series of spots we helped create for the Seattle International Film Festival in Renton, WA. Produced by Evil Slave with Directing and Editing provided by our team at Attackships On Fire, the series follows the adventures of a pair of hilariously dimwitted cinefiles (Fox 13 News' Adam Gherke, and KIRO Radio's John Curley parodying themselves) as they attempt to pitch horrible movie ideas to the Mayor of Renton (portrayed by veteran award winning local actor Paul Eenhoorn).
