Mayday

Janek, a taxi driving bigamist, falls into debt with a local mobster and must find a way to raise 250k in the next 48 hours. With the help of his friend – a good-natured con-artist- he must outwit the police, the gangsters and his two wives before his time runs out.

Mayday was co-written by Sam Akina and Jules Jones and directed by Sam Akina. It stars Piotr Adamczyk and Adam Woronowicz, two of Poland’s most famous actors.

It was theatrically released in January of 2020 and was Poland’s 3rd highest grossing film of that year.
