Kemyst – Iowa

In our third collaboration with Des Moines, Iowa hip hop artist Kemyst for his debut album “The Experiment” we created a love letter to the sights, sounds and people of the midwest.

Shooting took place on location, in and around Des Moines, IA, where director Sam Akina also spent time as a youth.

On release, our video for “Iowa” received a massive response online, resulting in over 275k views on Youtube and over half a million views on Facebook – turning Kemyst into a local celebrity, virtually overnight.
