Project Lionheart – They Come Back

We decided early on in this project to stay away from the traditional hip hop video stereotypes in lieu of exploring more substantive themes. What we came up with was a portrait of perseverance that is as powerful as it is tragic- from the perspective of the artist as a struggling musician and father, to his fans who must each reconcile tragedy and abuse in their own lives. “They Come Back” was featured on the soundtrack of the hit videogame NBA 2k12.
