Star Anna – If Wishes Were Horses

We were commissioned by Malamute Records to create a promo for their then-emerging young artist Star Anna’s first single. Inspired by the Ellensburg native’s soulful lyrics and picturesque hometown, we spent several days shooting on location with the band, capturing fragments of their lives and neighborhoods.

The video eventually garnered national attention when it began playing in rotation on CMT’s Pure Country channel.

Several years and many albums later, as Star and her band frequently play large arenas on national tours with the likes of Pearl Jam, we like to look back on this video and remember how we helped contribute to the bands modest beginnings.
