Tilted Thunder – This is Derby

When we received this commission from Seattle’s only banked track roller derby league, we knew there were several things we wanted the spot to accomplish. As a fledgling sport in an emerging market, we felt it was important to legitimize both the sport of roller derby as well as the brand of Tilted Thunder. For us, this meant presenting a story about effort and dedication to craft from the perspective of the athletes – from the rigorous training in the warehouses, through injuries and practice days, to preparing for game day and skating out into the arena like modern day gladiators – all while giving the viewer a glimpse into the unique personas of Tilted Thunder skaters.
